The most important points first: This site sets no cookies, embeds no analytics tools and loads no external fonts or scripts. The programs offered here run on your computer and send no usage data. There is no license server and no user account.

The site is operated by a web host in Europe. When the site is accessed, the server processes technically necessary access data (IP address, time, requested file, browser identifier) in order to deliver the site and keep it running securely. These logs are not combined with other data and are not used to analyze usage behavior.
Legal basis under the GDPR: Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in secure operation).
Purchases are handled by Polar Software, Inc., 3500 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901, USA, which acts as the seller in the legal sense (Merchant of Record). You enter your payment details there, not with us — we never see them. To process your order, Polar provides us with your email address and the order number so that we can send you the license file and help with any questions. This involves transferring data to the USA; Polar’s privacy policy applies in addition (polar.sh/legal/privacy).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Retention: as long as necessary for processing and for any statutory retention periods.
Your license file contains your name or email address, the product purchased and the date of purchase, together with a signature. The program verifies this signature on your computer. Nothing is transmitted in the process, and no internet connection is required.
If you send us an email, we process your information to answer your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Messages are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed.
What each program stores on your device is described in its own privacy policy: MSFS24 Flight Helper · RacePaintShop · Sendezentrale · QuickCharge.
Under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and – where applicable – the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise these rights, contact support@tausendfreund.me.
Right to lodge a complaint: in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the competent supervisory authority where you live.
