License terms (EULA)

Last updated: August 18, 2026

1. Subject matter

These terms govern the use of the software MSFS24 Flight Helper ("the Software") by Markus Tausendfreund, Lachenweg 49, 4125 Riehen, Switzerland ("the Provider"). By installing or using the Software, you agree to these terms.

2. Right of use

With your purchase you acquire a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable and perpetual right to install and use the Software for your own private purposes on the devices you use. This is a one-time payment, not a subscription; future updates of this program version are included.

3. Restrictions

4. Third-party components

The Software uses third-party components that are subject to their own license terms – including Piper (neural speech output, MIT license) together with the voice models used, and the SimConnect library from Microsoft's Flight Simulator SDK. The checklists and explanations in the application are the Provider's own content.

5. No use in real-world aviation

The Software is exclusively a learning aid for the flight simulator. It is not a substitute for the Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH), not a flight planning or navigation reference and may not be used for operating a real aircraft. Information on procedures, speeds, frequencies and switch positions is simplified and may differ from reality.

6. Purchase, payment and withdrawal

The price is 5,90 CHF as a one-time payment. Sales and payment processing are handled by Polar Software, Inc., 3500 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901, USA, which acts as the seller in the legal sense (Merchant of Record) and handles invoicing as well as sales tax/VAT; its terms apply in addition (polar.sh/legal/terms).

Customers in the EU are generally entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content. This right expires as soon as the download has begun with express consent and the acknowledgment of the loss of the right has been confirmed. Processing is handled by the seller named above.

7. Warranty and liability

The Software is provided "as is". No particular quality or fitness for a particular purpose is warranted. The Provider is liable only for intent and gross negligence and in cases of mandatory statutory liability. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

8. Term

The right of use ends automatically if you breach material provisions of these terms. You can stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it.

9. Applicable law

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is – to the extent permitted – Basel-Stadt, Switzerland. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
